Just spent hours trying to upgrade & I mean hours !
Simply chmoding the install folder from 755 - 777 solved the problems
Maybe this could be mentioned in the readme.txt
Add to this still got the error on line 141 in config
eventualy removed line 141
then over wrote dbtree from an older version 9
to make this work
