I wanted to test the invite a friend feature on my pligg based site.. this is what i got:

I thought you might like this idea.

All " and ' characters come with slashes before them, in the body of the email recieved.

I'm not that familiar with PHP coding, I dont know where to start looking. Any advice is appreciated.

I can't duplicate this problem.

You can try opening recommend.php and change line 120 from

 $message = $_REQUEST['email_message']; 
  

to

 $message = stripslashes($_REQUEST['email_message']);

I recommend this change in future versions of pligg.
