Sacha,

on your site HumaNews I've seen special characters like é and è are getting properly replaced in your URLs. Did that work right out of the box or did you change anything in your Pligg installation to get it working like that?

Just asking because I have issues with german umlauts. I also tried a title with french special characters and they get dropped instead of replaced as well.

For that, you have to add all the accentuated characters you want in /libs/utils.php in the list at line 240.
This functions works by pairs: the accentuated character followed by its non-accentuated equivalent.

I tried that in the first place, but it didn't work. I think it was due to the database tables being created in latin1-swedish or something like that instead of utf-8.

But well, it works now.

Salut les francophones,

J'ai vu des pliggs en français la première catégorie "all" correctement traduite par "tout". Seulement quand je change all par tout dans category manager, ça ne me donne plus rien comme résultat, mais quand je "tout" par "all" dans le lien, j'ai les résultats.

Question: Comment vous faites pour traduire/remplacer "all" par "tout" et d'ou le faites-vous?

ben écoute c'est tout simple : il suffit de remplacer ISO-8859-1 par UTF-8 dans les fichiers RSS concernés.

j'ai installé pligg sur mon serveur .et j'ai changé la langue (englais -> francais ) mais il y a des mots qui sont ecrités comme (précédent).
j'ai changé quelle que mots avec mon control panel(Administration).mais il y a toujours des pbs .
comment je fais ?
