I'm using a fresh install of Pligg 9.8.2 and the Private Messaging v 0.1 module breaks my login for some reason. When it's enabled, I get a blank screen after logging in. If I hit the browser's back button a couple times and refresh the page, I'll be logged in, but only some of the pages will work. The home page is always blank and others are randomly blank. It's quite frustrating. I have it disabled now and everything else works fine. Any help is appreciated!

Make sure your pligg.tpl file contains the following line..

Code:
{checkActionsTpl location="tpl_pligg_pre_title_lightbox"}
Messaging requires lightbox module so make sure that is activated too.

Yup, that code is at line 31 in pligg.tpl file from Elite theme I bought from the Pligg Pro store.

I also have the Lightbox v0.1 module activated.

I just upgraded to 0.9.9 and am still having this same problem. I'm using the yget template now and had Lightbox activated. I clicked "Install" for the Simple Private messaging system and now every page is blank. I can't even browse back to remove the private messaging module. How do I uninstall the messaging system and get the site back? Is there a way to manually uninstall private messaging?

I still have this same problem. Whenever I enable Private Messaging or Simple Private Message every click on my site takes about 30-some seconds for it to load. If I disable Private Messaging it all loads instantly. Why does it move so slowly with Private Messaging enabled? I'm using the yget template and version Pligg 9.9.0.

I just started experiencing this problem when I moved to a server running PHP5. When I was running PHP4, private messaging worked fine but ever since upgrading to PHP5 i've had to disable the private messaging mod or else the popular and upcoming pages were taking 30+ seconds to load.

My VPS runs PHP4 and PHP5, but it uses PHP4 by default, so I'm guessing that isn't my problem?

I doubt it's PHP5 causing the problem, I'm using it without any problem.

I have the same problem. Simple Private Messaging slows my Pligg 9.9.0 down to a crawl. I'm on a Liquidweb VPS and running PHP 5.
