Dear all, i'm tring to install pligg beta 9.8
OS gentoo
Php 5
mysql 5
installation on subdomain port 8080
i have read all the installation steps (rename file, change permission, new db pligg) but when i try to install the pakage i recive always the same message
1. Error establishing a database connection!Are you sure you have the correct user/password?
2. Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
3. Are you sure that the database server is running?
4. Have you run the Pligg Installer?
for me is not the first installation (check Mind / Notizie pubblicate)
Any idea?
