HTML Tags in story submission.

Code done, will be implemented in beta 6 or 6.01....

Site admins have the ability to allow certain tags to be in the story description box. This is setup via the config.php file.

// Submitting a new story / link
define('Story_Content_Tags_To_Allow', ''); // leave blank to not allow tags. example is '<b><br><font><img><p>'
// ---

Hi Ash and all. propps on a seemingly very cool piece of software.
I wanted to implement basic a href links to my post submissions and it's achievable, but my problem's basically that the links i provide point to my pligg-root, like so: http://www.mysite.com/"http://www.othersite.com/news"
I've managed to install the whole pligg-app into a subfolder on my server, but that shouldn't have anything to do with my problem tho, should it?..

In version 7, I can only add the tags directly to the config2.php file, and then every time thereafter that I use the admin panel, the tags disappear from the config and I have to re enter them... what am I mssing here... I thought I'd read something about the config files being overwritten but can't seem to find it....

Found it...

"Note: There is currently no way to import an existing config.php file. Any manual changes to config2.php will be overwritten the next time you use the admin panel, so use t to make your changes instead of manually."
So I take it that I should just make all config changes via the config2.php file then, and not use the admin panel?

there is a bug with that feature, when you add some tags, and go back to
pligg home » admin panel » Configuration / HTML tags to allow

the layout is messed. i think that the tags are interpretated by the page

the tags i added were :
define('Story_Content_Tags_To_Allow', '<b><blockquote><i>');

We are aware of this bug. Basically, like someone already stated, once you enter some html tags to use and then go somewhere else on the site and then go back to the admin panel and try to add more tags it won't let you. When you saved the first ones and went back you probably noticed that the page tried to render them and it essentialy makes the format of the config page really weird.
