Definately, congratulations.

Pligg is a great little system, I can see it going in a number of directions. I got my pligg up and running within an hour. I can see a number of ways to improve it and will do a full analysis after I have lived with the system.

Will Pligg and co destroy Digg, maybe not. I think Digg will destroy Digg and I do think it will be destroyed, but that's for a later post.

BTW I found Pligg through SEOmoz

One thing I have noticed is a number of Pliggs on the same sector, SEO for example. I'm not sure the market can sustain a Pligg without a ready to go user base or diferentiating themselves in someway.

I'm thinking of startin a Pligg on Krispy Kreme Donuts.

Thanks for the heads up and well spotted that you knew the site from it's Alexa ranking.

I have now added the link, obviously videoshift is a major Pligg site with that kind of ranking.

I am going to do a follow up post with further analysis of the Pliggers. If anyone has a pligg site that is not included in the list and has an Alexa ranking of less that 1,000k please get in touch.

I am also interested in interviewing a few Pliggers who have had success with their sites.

I'm interested in what makes a succesful Pligg site and what new pliggers can do to make their site kick ass.

I am of course setting up my own Pligg (everyone should have one) but not in anyone elses niche, or not that I know of. There are so many sites out their already.

I am hoping Pligg will develop into something like wordpress.
