Images with Lightbox in Desc w/ popup Thumb

Hello all,
I just discovered Pligg and am in love with it.

I really think images have to be given some importance here. I was hoping that somebody out there can help us with a mod for now. I have images allowed in the html code, but for some reason my images are not showing up!

I would like a mod which can include images (upto n, n>0&&n<5) and then create a lightbox show for that story only. Then the first image would be the image that popup when a user hovers on the story in the list mode.

I am willing to finance this mod (be reasonable now). Once I have it built, I will more than gladly donate this to the community or the core codebase for sharing.

I would just do anything for an option to have the image location be put into an extra field somehow.
The majority of my visitors are not web savvy and don't quite understand the <img> codes. It would be easier if they just had a field where they could either paste the image location into a field and or have a browse button that asks for the url/location.

Something along these lines would be very very useful.

I have a site that does a lot of what you want, but it doesn't have an image upload capability yet. For a short term solution you can create an extra field, have users input an image url in that field, then format link_summary.tpl to wrap that field in <img> tags along with lightbox attributes to make it popup. I did that and it works really well on my site (sorry I cant post it because I'm still working on it) at least until I can convince AshDigg to build me an image upload script. Hopefully my site will be finished soon so I can post an example. I've seen a couple other sites do the similar things.
