Whatever happens, a strong community is hard to tame. If you want to push it in the wrong direction, it will follow it's own route - just like what happened in the joomla/mambo case.
With the talks on IRC and the forums I know you guys don't want pligg to take the mambo route. So i'll wait and see in strong believe this will turn out to be a good thing for all of us.
I think a serious party with good intentions can take pligg to a next level, and hope to see some one giving some (monetary) attention to ash's great work with pligg 2.0.
