Pligg Spy and Google Maps Mashup

It would be really cool if someone made a google maps spy/sneak page where you could see live activity appearing on a map. Isn't that possible by looking up the ip address... Would be nice because it would reflect the geographic reach of a pligg site and also, at least for my music site, may show how countries and areas differ in what they like.

When you say "91% done with the graphics" do you mean that your making a graphic mockup or your actually coding it. Anyway, looking forward to it.

building a network model in real time like that assumes a high volume of users or a large user base - and they're doing it with a firefox extension...

so my q: could there be a ff extension for pligg to do something like this (and handle, perhaps, posting?

No, not like swarmthe, but thanks for posting the link because I hadn't seen it before.

WorldSpy is a Google Map with animated storylinks fading in and out where they occur on the world map. I'll be posting a little movie of this soon.
