Also adding an anonymous story viewing on/off option (allowing/disallowing the unregistered users to view the stories) to Pligg Configuration section would be great.
If this can be implemented before 1.0 release it would be double great.

after clicking on a tag I would prefer to order the stories from the most recent not from the oldest like now, then to be able to order the news: the most voted, most commented and most visited.
A visitor counter on every stories would be great too.

Streamlined coding!

I was looking for info on customizing a template to work with Pligg and ran across this article. It seems even experienced programmers have trouble with it and would like a more simple system. My biggest difficulty is the number of .tpl files that seem unnecessary. For example, pligg.tpl calls the meta.tpl file. Since pligg.tpl is the framework, why put the meta in another .tpl? I'm sure much of the info can be reduced to less files.

A couple more ideas (may be repeated ealier, but I didn't read through all 13 pages).

- When in the admin section and viewing users (user management), the ability to sort by the columns.

- When updating/upgrading, having the upgrades not reset the lang.conf file (if it was never touched, don't have it changed during upgrade. May require having two downloadable versions: upgrade version and full install version. Many software systems have this.

I have only read a few of these pages so this may have been mentioned before, but I would love to see functionality that allows users to delete themselves if they wish. We've had a couple of requests for that from our users who have set up multiple profiles.

First of all more "community/social" like mentioned before.
Another really important thing is the Editor(Textform for submit News). It should be redesigned completely to one step!
And and WYSWG-Editor should be working. (like fckeditor or else)
Its important that people have an comfortable way to submit.
