Post to your blog option

I'd like to see a similar feature that Digg has that allows people to post a story to their blog...

I'm working on that. I hope to finish this feature within a week (depends how much time I'll have).

I already have a working version for Blogger. I still need to integrate it with the user profile, to retrieve the user name password and blogging system. And also I want to make Typepad work before I'll release the code to Pligg

Finally it is done.

I added support for Blogger and Wordpress. The both tested and working on my site http://www.shaveh.co.il

You now can send posts to these blogging systems directry from pligg.

In order to add this support I had to make changes to many files such as user profile, user class and more.

In addition you'll have to make some database modifications to the user table (script attached in the install folder)

I uploaded all the changed files in their respective folder structure.

One more thing. This is based on beta 5.10 so it is needed to be merged with beta 6 code base. Since I'm not using beta 6 (yet), I'll leave this to someone who is more familiar with beta 6 than me.

This code can be easily extended other atom and xmlrpc based blog systems, just take a look at the work I've done already with blogtowordpress.php which uses the xmlrpc API and blogtoblogger.php which uses the atom API.

One more note: I added an entry in the config.php file called USER_KEY which is the key used to encrypt the user name and password for the blog, in case you are wondering why I attached this file also.

Thanks for doing this. I'll take a look at it and add it into the next version.

Using Pligg Beta 8 and according to this thread the BlogIt! feature for Wordpress has been included since version Beta 6... but I can not find it nor how to activate it?

Any help appreciated!
