You might consider changing this:
http://www.url.com/story/15/ into http://www.url.com/story/This-Is-The-Title-Of-The-Story.

and, instead of /story/, you should make it the category name, for exemple, a story which was submitted in the Technology category, has got an url like this: http://www.url.com/technology/This-I...e-Of-The-Story

It's MUCH better, trust me. Either for SEO and accessibility.

This is already done if you use UrlMethod=2 in your config.php file.

I'm already happy that it's going to be done. You might want to post your to-do list, so we can see what you're doing these days, and some dates when we can expect those new features, would be nice too
