This is a somewhat good idea. On one hand, outdated articles should be expunged from the system if they are not getting any hits for ane extended period of time, but at the same time it's not good web design to remove pages just because they're old unless the information is innaccurate. It would be nice to alleviate the databases of unwanted data and to filter unwanted search results. I think there definitely should be an option to expunge old entries that haven't been accessed for a long amount of time just to save space and keep entries accurate over time for sites that use Pligg as a news service. We still haven't even included the ability to physically remove stories from Pligg though, which is something that needs to be done soon to help keep the db clean.

So a quick sum up of my thoughts: expunging stories from the system should be an option for older stories that are inaccurate or haven't been accessed for an extended period of time.
