Fresh installation before each release

I know you guys are working hard
But I have a suggestion for all of those who wait for a release before launching a site.

Could you guys do a fresh install, set up some of the configurations, & add a bit of the content before releasing a new installer.

I have a DreamHost account that I try to put fresh installs on & theoretically it should be the same as the Pligg team, but it almost never is. I have to make assumptions but it does seem like no one might be doing a fresh install before a release. I might be wrong.. Maybe you guys are just hosting on different server setups.

I install Pligg about 50 times a week. When you test Pligg on your localhost it takes about 30 seconds to install

We can build the best application in the world but once you throw 15 different php versions and 10 different mysql versions (exaggerating a bit) into the mix it is very hard to make a program that will be a smooth ride for everyone. Some people may have to hack a thing here or there to go it to do what they want.

There's a fix listed someone but the import RSS has errors
I'm using DreamHost for testing & I think you guys are too since Pligg.com was down recently.
Again I'm not coming down on you guys, but maybe I'm thinking now testing servers might be configged different than the DreamHost server..

We test on our own machines that run the latest php and mysql and we also have various test sites that do and do not use DreamHost. I know one of our test sites runs php 4.4.4 and mysql 4.1.21. It's almost impossible to have every single php and mysql version available for us to test on.
