Juan, you don't need to add "noindex, follow" to your meta tags because you've already added it to your robots.txt file. So don't worry, you're safe. :-) The robots.txt file is just an alternative to the meta tag solution and is likely easier to most because it's most familiar.

Thanks blaze. U really helped me with this matter (stop duplicant content).
I think it should be included on future pligg releases, or at least it would be included on the pligg wiki.
Pligg has a lot of potential but sometimes you have to do a lot fo changes until you have it "perfectly tunned"...

Yes, this is true... but in all honesty, SEO is always something that needs to be worked on seperately. The pligg devs should stay focused on the core and security -- after all, that really is the most important thing. The rest of us can create fixes and hacks and/or mods to make it more custom.

Think I'm being a victim of duplicate content due to tags and categories:
Story name don't found at google: http - Buscar con Google
but if I search for a part of that story it appears under the tags section:
"rnPantalla de 7 pulgadas, GPS integrado" - Google Search
AND if we click on repeat the search with the omitted results included. it appears under tag and category section, but the story link doesn't appear yet:
"rnPantalla de 7 pulgadas, GPS integrado" - Google Search

What do u recommend guys? Should I add Disallow: estosesale.com/tag to my robots.txt file?

thanks

Why are you guys using robots.txt to disallow your pages? If you disallow your upcoming page with robots.txt then googlebot won't even hit that page therefore it won't find the story pages that are listed there. The whole point of using robots.txt is to keep the bots away from those files and folders.

I have to agree with wanderingmind Simon, you've wasted your time. When more stories are submitted under a tag, or category, that page becomes unique any way. Same too with blogs, I find that at times my blogs tag pages rank higher than my article pages. BTW, I've been doing SEO for over 2 years and regconised as an expert in the field.

it worked but have you noticed the URLs for the related stories ?

I have something like this http://www.domain.com/story/title/bl...la-story-title when it should be http://www.domain.com/category/bla-bla-bla-story-title

This is a big problem, do you have a fix for it ?
