Everyone should use current version\release

Here is my two cents for the suggestions thread.

I think it would help if the only available download on the site was the most recent stable release + the most current beta.

Having used the forums and having been playing with pligg for a while now it seems like it would help a lot of people out if we got the whole community on the same page.

I think WordPress does this . . . anyways, I'm not exactly a software developer so I have no clue as to the normal way this is usually done . . . feel free to put me in my place and explain to me if I'm way off base here.

But getting everyone on the same page might be worthwhile when it comes to support and helping each other out with troubleshooting.

Just a thought. Keep Pligging!

I can see where your coming from... and I agree with having a more central orgainisation to the available downloads... but... you cant have everyone on the same version.. some have modified to a great extent and can not upgrade at the same rate as others. And, for those people you need to leave old revs available for download.. maybe what you would suggest is a more obvious current download and mods with older revs stored in a clearly labelled manner... I find my way around ok as it is now.. but can understand how some would get confused.... just my opinion..
