Nice work! Very slick, looks very good in both firefox and ie!~!

How difficult would it be to change color scheme? (roughly how many images are involved? how much could be done with just css?)

Changing the color scheme shouldn't be complicated if you have some very basic skills of image/color editing. The template is using about 60 images, but you can use the same filter/effects on almost all of them.
The colors for text, links, buttons etc are defined in a single css file.

Btw, what color(s) do you want to use?

For some reason, I do not get a horizontal scroll bar in Mozilla and because of that user will not know that here is a right hand sidebar that can be used. I do not know whether it is a Mozilla issue or template issue.
