yget graphics tutorials

hi,
can anyone point me to a tutorial on how the yget templates were created? specifically im looking for ways the shading changes from lighter to darker and borders, im using gimp, anything would be good.

I'm really not familiar with Gimp to show you how to do it, but I'd be happy to help you change the look and colours of your images if you like.

like your site, id really just like to be able to learn to do it myself, i think ive found somewhat what im looking for and just goes to show you how little i know, but the gradient tool changes the shades from lighter to darker, you select a gradient then drop your mouse down in your area and then select high to low areas, it'll draw the colors in that direction, easy peasy, now for borders

oh I understand completely, it's much better to have the ability to do it yourself, I'm just not a Gimp user. I'm glad you seem to have found the answer you are looking for
