are you using the free Upload mod for uploading screenshot? if not, can I upload more than one screenshot just like the Upload mod?
|

|
@PliggNZ No, it's not the Upload mod. We are using a different image upload module and you can only upload a single image. |

when available for 1.0.4?

| Please don't soil our forums with questions like this. It should be clear that if a new version was available, the author would post it. Asking only makes you look greedy. The new version has only been out for a few days... Give it some time dude. |

cmstheme, is this template compatible with upload module? I mean can I install the upload module while using socialgallery? Just wanted to make sure before I sunk in 80 bucks for this. Basically i am trying to create a user uploaded photos voting site. I tried out the social gallery demo site but it would not allow me to upload just any image. It had dimensions as well as file size restrictions. For the site I am hoping to create, I am looking for flexibility in image dimensions as well as, file size. |

@ypchoudary SocialGallery is NOT compatible and doesn't use Upload module. It has its own image upload module. We develop our own image upload module for SocialGallery because our understanding is that the Upload module cannot be bundled into a commercial item. It's image upload module allows you to upload a single image and will generate only one(1) thumbnail. The generated thumbnail will be displayed in the frontpage (summary) and the original image will be displayed in the story details. With it's image upload mod, you can: 1. set if it will be required or not during submission. If it is not required and the submitter will not upload an image, it will display the website thumbnail of the site submitted. The website thumbnail is provided by ShrinkTheWeb. 2. set the maximum image size allowed 3. set the minimum width & height allowed 4. set the maximum width & height allowed 5. set the thumbnail quality 5. set where the thumbnail should link to (original image, story details, URL of the story, or original image in lightbox) 6. set the thumbnail width & height (it is recommended not to change this to preserve the layout ) 7. set the path to image directories Why you can't upload image in the demo? Are there any errors? |
