No offense but $425 is too high for a Pligg template - specially when it's the default layout.

$425.00 is to buy it outright.
Meaning you would be the only person buying / using it. That is not too expensive. Try finding a template in which you can buy outright for less. You can't.

As for your "default layout" comment. Do you mean "default" as in it has a header, footer, and a sidebar? All templates have that.

If you can't afford the template, your welcome to go make your own. I sure don't need you posting your opinion on what you think my development time is worth.

Your comments serve no purpose to anyone other than proving you know absolutely nothing about pligg templates and how much they cost to have made.

Other template developers are selling "copies" of templates for hundreds of dollars. These are copies! Meaning multiple people are using the same template. I sure didn't see you complain on those threads. So unless you have anything positive or intelligent to say, please refrain from posting.

Well.. you should be fair with assessing your template's value. You might find someone willing to pay at most $100 but not $425 for editing a CSS file.

Nah. He just doesn't understand how long it takes to set up the template.

We don't need to get mad at him.

Just need to educate him. That's a reasonable price, for outright rights to it.

Anyone who has spent time with Pligg knows how difficult & time-consuming it is to create a custom template. Exclusive rights are always about 10x standard template costs.

People obviously don't have any taste in design.

I'm not saying you did a bad job, I'm just saying your CSS skills are better than your design skills. But you're probably not a designer anyway.
