Avatars messing up

Not sure if this is a Pligg issue or just for this template (edit, I just tested out the demo trying to change the avatar and having pretty much the exact problems... asking for a mod to move thread)...

I've just installed pligg and installed the UpstartAqueous template and I noticed that there is no default avatar image (just a white box with the word "Avatar").

Is there a way to substitute this with a default avatar logo like digg does.

And then when I went to add an avatar to my profile there were a few issues. First it wouldn't upload. I found a fix here: http://pligg.com/forum/showpost.php?p=11060&postcount=6

Then when saving it kept demanding that I insert my password.

And now I'm finding that when on the homepage the avatar doesn't show, but on my profile page it does show.

Rather weird

Anyone know what's going on?

I've chmod777 both the avatars and user_uploaded folder.

cheers

What problems did you have when you tried it on the demo?

Um basically the avatar isn't appearing next to my username on the homepage, profile page etc. So it says "Welcome, Avatar treelovinhippie!"

The location of the image is: http://demo.pligg.com/avatars/user_uploaded/_15.jpg

It doesn't work in IE or FF

Yank must have grabbed the SVN code that had that bug in it. That bug was just recently created and is not related to anything to do with earlier versions. It has since been fixed but the demo hasn't been updated.

Thanks mate, that fixed that problem.

The next thing is on the profile page: http://uninews.com.au/profile.php

In Firefox the "New Password" field is being pre-populated by Firefox. Is there some kind of code or something that can be done to prevent this?

I'm having trouble changing the avatar (so I've added an avatar, but can't change it to something else). The avatar system is very strange imo.

Ideally the process and page should be (pics attached and linked)

pic 1 = when you first open the profile page

pic 2 = when you've uploaded an image

That should make uploading an avatar a lot smoother. Anyone kind enough to make a quick tweak?

cheers

This problem should be fixed in UpstartAqueous 0.4, just released.
