This Wiki article contains the current Roadmap for Pligg CMS. A roadmap is a guide for what goals we have set for upcoming releases.

Projected version release numbers are placed on top of each list. Items that are expected to appear in that release will appear beneath the version number.

The list will sometimes be divided into 2 types of items: Code Items and Design Items. Code items are general bugs and features that need to be added to Pligg. Design Items are generally template issues that need to be addressed. We divide the list this way to make it easier for developers to quickly see what tasks are appropriate for their skill sets.

The color GREEN represents objects that have been completed.
The color RED represents high priority items.
The color PURPLE represents items that need to be verified.
The color BLUE represents tasks that are currently in development. This is important to note since we do not want developers working on the same project, resulting in overlapping work.

Roadmap

Pligg CMS 1.1.3

Code Items
Design Items
  • Check and Improve Killspam admin pages
  • Improve Admin > backup layout.

Possible Future Modules
  • Honeypot module. New Antispam module that will hide fields using CSS and randomly name input fields to trick bots into inserting data into the wrong areas, thus identifying spam bots.

Possible Future Widgets
  • MySQL Query widget. Allows you to quickly run a MySQL query from the Pligg Admin Panel. Example uses would be to search for spam in user signatures, or to reset user homepage values. Very similar to the "Execute SQL Query" feature offered by vBulletin.
