Layout modification and how to edit the "about pligg" part

I've been trying this for hours. Edited the about_box.tpl file and when I open it with dreamweaver shows my inofrmation but when I open the website on my browser it appears unchanged from the original version. Is there a trick to edit this file? Whats going on? How can I fix this?

I'm using the yget template by the way

Also can anybody tell me how can I change the layout I want all the information on the top on a second column to the left in the middle.
