Beta 707 - Windows Machines Not Able to Vote? (IE7 & Firefox 2)

Well I didn't realize this was an issue because I use a Mac and Safari & Firefox on the Mac display everything fine.

I had someone testing my site out on a Windows machine and apparently they can't vote with Firefox or IE7 on Windows XP Service Pack 2.

They get a javascript error: "line 70, character 8 - permission denied"

I am currently using "Pligg 9 707"

Any ideas?

The plot thickens... Apparently it is an issue with being a "normal" user vs "admin". Once I promoted the person to admin they could vote. Is there something that I have to enable to allow normal users the capability to vote?

I can't post the website right now because it is offline on our intranet.

giving someone admin status will have no affect on voting. Without a link we can't really help you unless you provide us with more information.

Sounds like the problem I had. Try changing your base URL to "www.yourdomain.com" or if its there, then maybe try removing the "www".
