How to add a page that displays all categories on site?

I'd like to remove the categories from the sidebar and create a separate page that displays all available categories on the site. There's a thread that shows you how to remove the categories from the sidebar. Can anyone help with the second part of creating a page that would only show the list of available categories on the site?

You can try using something like this
Mollio-Wrap
which will create a blank page, Then you could hard code the categories in the center.

That's a great approach, unfortunately every time you add a category you need to go back and edit the page. It would be nice to be able to just query from the database and then display the category results on the page.

Well theoretically you should be able to just add the code you removed from the sidebar and place it in the center of the new page.
