where and how exactly to get google analytics code into yget?

i saw a couple of threads abotu head and pligg tpl files, but yget has both header and pligg tpl's - where should that little block of analytics code be pasted to work effectively? thanks in advance...

I've never used analytics so can you provide where they tell you to put the code in your website? From there I can then tell you which files you will need to look in.

yes - basically in header (with template sites)

from elgoog, "The code contained in the text box on the Tracking Status page must be copied and pasted into all of the web pages you will be tracking. It should be added immediately before the </body> tag, and can be added by hand or through the use of templates or includes, if available."

in this case, there is a header - that's how i've done it in other site, just need to be sure that it's the file that is called to the top of every single page within a pligg insteall (pligg.tpl? header.tpl?)

Okay, simple enough. Open pligg.tpl and you'll find the </body> towards the end of the file.

thanks

very easy, worked like a charm...verifies immediately and then urchin starts tracking...nice because you can put in conversion goals (registrations, submissions, etc)
