closing the gap in the vote box

I'd like to close the gap between the number of votes a story has and the vote link.

I've decreased the padding to 0 but there is still a huge gap.

Any ideas?

Look at http://demo.pligg.com, is your gap bigger than that?

Perhaps post a link to your site.

friend helped me fix this

i added
.vote a:link,.vote a:visited, .vote span {margin-top:-10px;display:block;padding:0px 0 5px 0;color:#000000;font-size:12px; text-decoration:none}

and now the Aoohm! word shows much better under the aoohm footsie..

margin-top: -10px; is what helped fix it

hope it helps someone in the future!
