yget not working on IE

Hi,
I installed Pligg 9.5 Beta. This version brings the yget template as default.

But the template is broken on IE (I tried with IE6). FF looks great.

I like this template but I cannot use it if all IE Users cant see the site correct. Is there a fix for this bug? Did I miss somethins?

Or is there a simmilar template which is works on FF and IE?

Best Regards

Could you supply a link to your installation? I haven't noticed any problems in IE6 myself, but I use a slightly older version of the template.

Thanks for the quick reply.

You can have a look on the Pligg demo site:
http://demo.pligg.com/
it is the same there. I post a screenshot too.

I see the white space (where the youtube player isn't displaying correctly in the main page), but other than that I don't see any problems when viewing it in IE6. Not seeing the dis-jointedness shown in the screenshot you posted.

Can anyone else who uses IE confirm what they see when viewing http://demo.pligg.com ?

If you look at the size of the picture it looks like you're trying to view it at a really tiny resolution. yget doesn't support anything below 1024x768

I made this screenshot in a reduced window size and reduced the image size too. It is the same effect in fullscreen view. See attached.

This is strange. I tried the demo.pligg.com on http://ipinfo.info/netrenderer/
and the screenshot look fine too.

I could only imagine it is really in relationship with my Display resolution. But I had never ever this effect bevor on a site I was testing with IE6.

I have a Notebook with 1920x1200 resolution. So I use 120dpi in the windows settings. I dont know if it is because of the dpi, but internet explorer displays pictures and text a lot bigger then FF. So Pics look boring because they are blown up. Firefox displays pics in native resolution. But because all is blown up in same ratio I never see something like this (only if there was css bug).

I'm not sure why it's happening for you. It must be a setting you have changed in IE 6 to make the text bigger. It works perfectly fine for me in IE 6.

Thanks. I didnt change anything in IE because I have never used it, just for HTML-Browser check stuff. It could be because of the 120dpi Graphik Card Config. But it doesent matter at all.

Fact is this seems to be only a prob on my system configuration so everything is fine

Cheers
